The Minister of National Defense, Ionuț Moșteanu, provided details about the Mobex B-IF-25 mobilization exercise, scheduled to take place in October in the Bucharest-Ilfov area, and explained that such events “are routine and are carried out periodically”.

The Minister of Defense emphasized that “no war” and “we do not take anyone in the army”.

“We see these days many fake news, many false news, many lies that are widespread in the public space, in social media, by those who want to destabilize Romania, by those who want a weak Romania, a weak Romanian army, and I want to clarify one thing-no war begins, we do not take anyone,”

He said that the mobilization exercise organized by the General Staff of Defense is an “absolute normal” one.

“What you see these days is a normal, normal training exercise that happened in the past years, it happens now. This year has happened in Teleorman, Giurgiu and Olt. It was the past years in Bucharest. Now, in the autumn, we have in Sibiu and Mureș. In October, between October 12 and 20, it will be a state, and it will be a state,” said the official.

Minister Ionuț Moșteanu urged the citizens to inform themselves “from safe sources”.

“What please: do not let those who want a weak Romania to destabilize us. Inform yourself from safe sources-and you have the website of the Ministry of National Defense, an extremely safe source, and the inforard platform of the Ministry of National Defense. There you have all the correct news about everything that happens with the Romanian army. Watching the security of Romania and the safety of each of you.
