Students who take the second session of the BAC 2025 exam today give, Tuesday, August 12, the compulsory profile test. Depending on the profile followed in the high school, the candidates take the examination in mathematics (for real, technological or vocational profile) or history (for a humanist profile). This is the second written test from the August session of the BAC 2025 exam, After the one in Romanian, Monday.
In this session there were over 30,200 high school graduates, according to the data of the Ministry of Education. Over 18,200 are from the current promotion, and about 12,000 are from previous promotions.
The exam starts at 9:00, and the students have three hours to solve the topics.
Candidates must have the identity card and writing tools (pen/pen with blue ink). Also, access with phones, beasts, headphones or any other helpful materials is forbidden.

- August 11, 2025 – Romanian language and literature – EA test) – written test
- August 12, 2025 – Mandatory profile test – EC sample) – written test
- August 13, 2025 – Sample of choice of profile and specialization – ED sample) – written test

- August 18, 2025 – Displaying results on written tests, viewing the written works and submission of appeals

- August 26, 2025 – displaying the final results.
In order to pass the 2025 baccalaureate exam, the August session, the students must obtain at least grade 5 at each written test and have a general average of at least 6.
At the first session of the baccalaureate examination the percentage of promotion is 76.5% after resolving the appeals. After resolving the appeals, the success rate increased by 2.2%, from 74.3% to 76.5%, in all promotions, compared to 78.2% in the June-July session 2024.
