The head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Alexander Solovyov calls to increase the number of folk squads and encourage their participants. He stated this at a half -year board.
So, the police chief said that according to the latest data in the region there are 76 general squads the number of 872 people. In the first six months of 2025, they made more than 4 thousand outputs, which largely helps law enforcement agencies to ensure public order.
“Nevertheless, it must be recognized that in a number of municipal formations this area of activity is not given due attention, and as a result, the number of folk squads does not exceed five people. And in the Birilus district, only two people remained in its composition, ”said Alexander Solovyov.
To increase the motivation of citizens, the police invited the local authorities to ensure “certain Preferences ”and create“ necessary conditions ”for the activities of volunteers.
We add that the legislation already enshrines the system of encouraging folk combatants. So, organizations have the opportunity to receive subsidies, win cash prizes in numerous competitions.
