Zarubin asked what lies behind Putin’s words about the “stunning” answer.
“A stunning answer,” Peskov explained, adding that, in his opinion, everything is clear here.
He noted that there are now many misunderstandings regarding Ukraine’s potential to launch long-range strikes deep into Russia.
“Of course, our Russian armed forces will react harshly to this and, as Putin said, stunningly,” the Kremlin spokesman noted.
Earlier, Peskov clarified that Putin, promising a “stunning” response from the Russian Federation, did not mean the supply of Tomahawk missiles, but any attempts to strike deep into Russia.
