In Krasnoyarsk, the trial of Expostroy was completed, which was accused of fraud and damage in the amount of 46 million rubles.

The prosecutor’s office reminded that the company acted as an executor of municipal contracts concluded with the overhaul fund – was putting in the order of facades of houses and city streets in front of the Universiade.

“However, the organization’s management saved on professional frames and quality materials, ignored the stucco laying technologies and temperature conditions. The thickness of the layer was reduced, the old coating was not removed before the new finish, there were also no anti -vandal materials. As a result, after a short time, facade coatings began to crack, the goals of the contract were unfulfilled, ”the prosecutor’s office noted.

The damage to the municipality amounted to 46 million rubles, and 15 million rubles were withdrawn and illegally cashed.

The owner of the company during the court denied his guilt and assured that the work was performed with high quality.

But the evidence was enough for the court to find the ex-director of the commercial organization guilty of fraud (part 4 of article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), causing property damage by abuse of trust (paragraph 2 of article 165 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and legalization of criminal income (clause 4 of article 174.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). He was punished by deprivation of liberty for a term of 6 years with serving in a penal colony of general regime. The man was taken into custody in the courtroom.
