The gesture made by Emmanuel Macron during a night walk through Rome

French President Emmanuel Macron helped an elderly man in distress as he walked through the center of Rome on Thursday evening, after arriving in the Italian capital for his Friday meeting at the Vatican with Pope Leo XIV, reports the Italian news agency ANSA, carried by Agerpres.
According to the quoted source, when he saw the man sitting on a step and looking sick, Macron stopped and asked his personal doctors to check on his condition.
Doctors spent about 15 minutes treating the man and assessing him, after which the French head of state shook hands with him and continued his walk, Italian media reported.
