“This exciting project represents the second biomethane production project of BSOG Energy in Romania. Cooperation with Unigrains will bring BSOG Energy another 57 MW of biomethane production. Given the elimination of organic waste from the environment and, at the same time, the production of green gases as a substitute for natural gas and of the organic fertilizers as a replacement of this project, It contributes significantly to the energy sustainability of Romania.

The realization of this project requires a regulatory framework to support it and we look forward to working together with the relevant authorities to the common objective of achieving biomethane large-scale developments.

The shareholders of Black Sea Oil & Gas, the Global Investment Company Carlyle and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, fully support this new partnerT ”, said Mark Beacom, Managing Director, Bsog Energy.

“Since 2018, recognizing the constraints of European regulations and climatic challenges, we have adopted a hybrid and organic agriculture system for fertilization and treatments in our farm, with which we have achieved extraordinary results. We have transformed our soils into living organisms, allowing agricultural production to function in symbiosis with nature.

The BSOG Energy proposal marks the peak of our agricultural strategy. In partnership with BSOG Energy, we look forward to offering a sustainable alternative, integrating our products with traditional technology, to produce high quality organic fertilizers and, finally, clean foods ”said Theodor Ichim, administrator of Unigins Trading and president of the Romanian Farmers and Professional Farmers Forum (FAPPR), specifying that Unigrains is also committed to raise awareness among Romanian farmers on this innovative initiative through the FAPPR Professional Association.

Experts from Romania and abroad develop advanced organic formulas derived from organic waste digestion, ensuring that they contain nutrients essential for plant development. In addition, we intend to improve our products with organic cultures.

“The partnership with BSOG ENERGY, the biomethane pioneer in Romania, represents a solid basis for the success of our common project. I consider this project a true sanitation of the agriculture of Romania, in the sense Effective elimination of agricultural wasteacting at the same time as a motor force for the growth of the circular economy ”he added.
