Ukrainian armed forces hit Russian transport ships. They were carrying weapons


The Special Operations Forces (SSO) unit of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, in cooperation with the Black Iskra guerrilla movement, successfully attacked two Russian ships in the Caspian Sea, near the coast of the Republic of Kalmykia. These units transported weapons and military equipment, the SSO reported on Friday in the Telegram messenger.

“Among the damaged ships are the Composer Rachmaninov and the Askar-Sarija, which are used by the Russian Federation for military purposes and have been sanctioned by the United States for their involvement in the supply of military cargo between Iran and Russia,” the SSO said.
As noted, representatives of the guerrilla movement provided detailed information on the route and cargo of the damaged ships. The time of the special operation was not disclosed.
The Interfax-Ukraine agency reported on Thursday that long-range drones of the Special Operations Center “Alpha” of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) attacked the Russian oil and gas platform in the Caspian Sea, belonging to the Lukoil-Nizhnevolzhskneft company. As a result of this operation, oil and gas production there was suspended.
On Wednesday, Sea Baby maritime drones of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) struck the Dashan tanker, belonging to the Russian so-called shadow fleets. It was a joint operation of the SBU military counterintelligence and the Ukrainian Navy, a source in the SBU told the Interfax-Ukraine agency.
