A large family led by a veteran from Mariupol has successfully returned from Germany to their new home in the Lviv Region. Oleg Kislenko, who served from 2016 to 2019, and his family, which includes ten children raised in a family-type children’s home, had to flee their home in Mariupol in 2022 due to the ongoing conflict.
Upon their return, the Lviv Regional State Administration provided them with a house in the village of Nezhukhiv. To ensure the family could settle in immediately, the drone manufacturer “General Chereshnya” took responsibility for furnishing the home, contributing 3.3 million UAH for the family’s needs. The Kislenko family also received a Renault Trafic Grand Evolution minibus, household appliances, laptops for the children, and tools for their farm.
This assistance was organized as part of the “Return of Family-Type Children’s Homes from Abroad” project in collaboration with the Mariupol City Military Administration, Donetsk Regional State Administration, and Lviv Regional State Administration.
