Beets will grow sweet and juicy after this top dressing in June. A recipe for a solution without any chemistry

According to the gardener, as soon as the beetroot begins to thicken, she needs potassium, which is responsible for sugar content and juiciness.

Chumak noted that for feeding beets, you can prepare either a solution from ash or use potassium sulfate.

Feeding recipes

  • 1 tbsp. Dissolve wood ash in 10 liters of water and leave to infuse for a day.
  • 1 tsp. Dissolve potassium sulfate in 10 liters of water.

The prepared solution must be poured with beets under the root. A month before harvesting the beets, you need to feed the beard. Thanks to this top dressing, the flesh of the root crops will become homogeneous and will acquire a characteristic bright color.

Preparation of top dressing

  • 1 tsp. Dissolve boric acid in 10 liters of water.

Fertilize the beets with a solution of boric acid in cloudy weather.
