Krasnoyarsk passed equipment for mass calls to scammers and fell under the investigation (video)

In Krasnoyarsk, police arrested an accomplice of distance scammers who stole 200 thousand rubles from a resident of Berezovka.

The police said that a 24-year-old woman became a victim of scammers in August last year. In the messenger, a stranger wrote to her, who offered training and additional earnings on the sale of cryptocurrencies. The girl entered the chat offered to her and soon received instructions – to follow the link to the crypto officer and transfer the money to the first deal. A resident of Berezovka transferred 200 thousand rubles, but soon realized that she had become a victim of scammers.

Investigating this case, the police, with the help of the FSB of the Russian Federation, went to the accomplice of the attackers. It turned out to be a 45-year-old resident of Krasnoyarsk. At the man at home, 11 symboxes were found. This is a device that allows you to work simultaneously with several hundred SIM cards for calls or sending messages. Also, a server bias of 24 ports and 3 computers with programs that helped control this equipment was seized from him.

One of these symboxes the man leased the scammers who deceived the girl. In relation to the man, they opened a criminal case under Part 5 of Art. 33, part 2 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Presentation in fraud.” It is in custody, investigative and procedural actions are carried out.
