In the show “Marius Tucă Show” from gandul.ro, on Wednesday evening, Călin Georgescu mentioned several times George Simion with the name “my younger protege” and then “partner”. Although he did not say it explicitly, the former presidential candidate understood that he wants to be prime minister, if Simion will win the elections on Sunday.
After a long period of absence and only four days before the second round of the presidential elections, Călin Georgescu appeared in an interview at the journalist's show, Marius Tucă. The show was followed by over 40,000 people in real time.
The former presidential candidate explained that he has avoided public appearances so far because he preferred to “listen to the voice of the Romanian people”. Asked by Marius Tucă what position will have in the state in the event that George Simion will win the president's term, Georgescu avoided a direct answer.
“I won the elections last year,” Georgescu said and then continued:
“It is not about functions, but why I follow because I want to bring the good of the Romanian people. It is a serious situation, we must not discuss the functions now. We have to opt between faith and unbelief. Only good things, “said Călin Georgescu.
Subsequently, the former presidential candidate said that he is engaged with his protection to change the system that now leads Romania.
“We have a consistent team, prepared people to do the job,” Georgescu said.
Asked by Marius Tucă if he seems to him that the term “protected” is pejorative, Georgescu has agreed to call “partner” to Simion.
Georgescu: Nicușor Dan is a “boy” who wants to put a prime minister who does not know a foreign language
Later, Georgescu also referred to Nicușor Dan with the term “Băiețas”, who proposes a prime minister who knows no foreign language. Georgescu referred to Ilie Bolojan, the one the mayor of the capital announced that he would like to appoint Premier.
By the end of the show, Georgescu had several potential prime minister statements. He apologized to Simion for the declaration regarding the dismissal of 500 thousand budgets and said that “maybe age, maybe the youth” made the presidential candidate advance the number.
“We can't do this, we need people who know a job,” Georgescu said. He also talked about the reduction of ROBOR or the visits that must be made externally after reaching power in Romania.
Also about Simion, who did not explicitly pronounced the name, Georgescu also said: “There are many things to be corrected, to guide, there are many things to learn, and he has to learn, and I have.”
