“A panorama”. Laughter stunt work in Slobozia: poles on the sidewalk, pedestrians on the road: “What profession do you have? Apparently, shoemakers”
A situation worthy of laughing stunts was recently caught in a neighborhood of Slobozia, Ialomița county, where electricity poles were placed right on the newly built sidewalk, practically blocking pedestrian traffic.

“This is how the sidewalks are made in Slobozia Noua on Margini street. Mr. Mayor, do you agree? Dorel got the project wrong, the pedestrian walks on the road and the poles sit well on the sidewalk”complained a local, on Facebook.
In a video that went viral on Tiktok, Mayor Alexandru Potor reacted. He went to the construction site and scolded those who did the work.
“The poles are put on the sidewalk. What profession do you have? Apparently, shoemakers. Why did you leave them on the sidewalk? Explain to me, because people curse me. You had nowhere to take the sidewalk? And do you think anyone will drive? We are the stuntmen of laughter. (…) Why did you do that? Well, this is not possible. Whose money are you making this modification, you are paying for, yes? We understand. You are a serious company, but you screwed up here. What you did here is a scam.” said mayor Alexandru Potor.
According to the mayor, the restoration of the sidewalk will be fully borne by the construction company, without costs for the local budget.
“Whose money are you making this modification on, you're paying, right? We understand. You're a serious company, but this is where you screwed up. What you've done here is a travesty. You've made me laugh too”the mayor also told them.
