In Krasnoyarsk, the childhood flag was raised on the square in front of the city hall

In Krasnoyarsk, on International Children’s Day, a solemn ceremony of raising the childhood flag took place on the square in front of the city administration. The honorary mission was entrusted to the Lion Cub, the symbol of the city, the mayor’s office reported.

The festival participants included the winners of the regional round of the “Young Talents of Russia” competition, laureates of all-Russian and international creative competitions, pupils of children’s art schools, prize-winners of sports competitions, candidates for master of sports, as well as representatives of the “First Movement”, “Young Army”, the Labor Detachment of the Head of the City and the “Preschool Eaglets” movement.

The deputy head of Krasnoyarsk, head of the department of social development, Evgenia Yuryeva, congratulated the children on the holiday.

“I look at our guys and understand: they are no longer hope – they are our proud present. These are children who paint pictures and music, solve complex problems, win world championships and love their country with all their hearts. May all your hopes, smiles and dreams come true. I believe that Krasnoyarsk – your hometown – will continue to be proud of you,” said Evgenia Yuryeva.

During the ceremony, students of Krasnoyarsk schools and lyceums were awarded diplomas from the city leader for their active participation in the activities of the “First Movement”.

The large Tatti family, participants in the city mayor’s project “Family is the soul and strength of Krasnoyarsk!” also spoke with congratulations.

“The most valuable thing in life is our family, our children and the love that unites us. Without this, no events in life will be complete. We congratulate the children on their childhood holiday and the onset of the holidays, we wish them bright victories in studies, sports and creativity!” – said Valentina Tatti.

The Orlyonok Children's Dance Theater and the Pure Sound vocal studio created a festive mood for the guests.
