Asphalt is being destroyed on Lesnikov Street in Krasnoyarsk

31 May 15:31

A resident of Krasnoyarsk appealed to Deputy of the Legislative Assembly Ilya Zaitsev with a complaint about the condition of the road surface on Lesnikov Street.

According to the townswoman, asphalt was laid on this site last year. However, the coating has already begun to deteriorate. Recently, workers arrived at the site, carried out local repairs near the pedestrian crossing and updated the markings, but left the problematic section of the road unattended.

The deputy suggested that the reason for the rapid destruction of the coating could be violations of technology during the work.

“Judging by how quickly it all fell apart, the laying technology was most likely broken. One of the most common sins of our contractors is asphalt in the rain. Wet base, wet surface, wrong temperature. Outwardly it looks normal, but lasts until the first winter. Then – this,” Ilya Zaitsev commented on the situation in his Telegram channel.

The parliamentarian also said that he would send an appeal to the customer of the work with a request to understand the situation and eliminate the shortcomings.

According to Ilya Zaitsev, there are similar complaints about a number of other streets in Krasnoyarsk, where repairs have been carried out in the last few years. He noted that he intends to ensure compliance with warranty obligations on all objects.
