Achinsk celebrated Metallurg Day in the festive atmosphere-massively, brightly and familyly. The main platform was the festival of Rusal The Festival Generation, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the company and the 55th anniversary of the Achinsky clay plant.
Festive events started in the Victory Park, where more than 25 thematic locations worked: master classes, sports games, quests, creative zones and interactives for children. Hockey with giant clubs, aquagim, a festival of Holi paints and a foam party were especially popular.
In parallel in the city Palace of Culture, a solemn meeting was held, at which AGK employees were honored. More than 70 employees of the enterprise received awards – honorary letters and letters of thanks from the company Rusal, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, the Legislative Assembly of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Governor of the region and local authorities.
Congratulations to the team were addressed by the director of the clay business of Rusal Yakov Yakov, the head of the city Igor Titenkov, the deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the region Vladimir Chernyshenko, the chairman of the City Council Sergey Nikitin and the chairman of the regional organization of the Mining and Metallurgical Trade of Russia Andrei Evstigneev.
“Metallurgists are people strong in spirit, with their point of view on many questions and ready to help in a difficult situation. Thanks for the social partnership and maintaining the tradition of good deeds, ”said the head of Achinsk Igor Titenkov.
AGK managing director Vitaliy Zagarin thanked the team for devotion to the case:

The tradition of celebrating Metallurg's Day more than 20 years ago was laid by the founder of the company Rusal Oleg Deripaska. Today it is not just a holiday, but an important part of the culture and social responsibility of the enterprise, which makes a significant contribution to the life of the city and the whole country.
Special attention was paid to veterans of the plant, standing at the origins of AGK. As the chairman of the City Council Sergei Nikitin noted, it was they who passed their professional hardening and respect for work to the current generation.
The cultural program was continued by the performances of creative groups of the city and invited artists. On the stage of the State Duma, the cover groups “Let's Dance”, “Courage”, “Aivazovsky Orchestra”, the Evolvers dance group performed, and the Hedliner was the popular performer Niletto.
The touching end of the holiday was the honor of the labor dynasties of the Cmel and Aigarovs, whose total experience on the AGK exceeded 250 years. This is a symbol of the continuity of generations and fidelity of the profession.
