Minus 13 degrees forecast in Bucharest on Monday night. Meteorologist: The snow is decreasing in intensity, but the frost wave remains throughout the country

The lowest temperatures, of -18 and -17 degrees, were in Satu Mare and Oradea during the night from Saturday to Sunday. The frost wave will persist in Romania until Friday, says meteorologist Mihai Huștiu from ANM.
According to him, Saturday night in Satu Mare it was -18 degrees Celsius, and in Oradea -17 degrees. In Bucharest, the minimums were minus 5 – minus 4 degrees.
“The episode of heavy snowfall ends on Sunday, at 12:00, in Bucharest and in the counties in the south-east of the country. It will still snow today, but the snowfall will become lighter. However, the frost remains”, said the ANM meteorologist, on Sunday, on Digi24.
He says that the night from Monday to Tuesday will bring frost to the whole country, with temperatures up to -13 degrees in Bucharest on Monday night and Tuesday morning.
“From Wednesday, the weather begins to warm up in the south and south-east of the country, and from Friday the whole country comes out from under the cold wave. The temperatures become positive, they will be 8-9 degrees Celsius”, added the ANM meteorologist.
