The Ukrainian Defense Forces raised the Russian military leadership with the question of the future fate of the classic gas-powered drones of the Shahed type. This was stated on May 23 by Advisor to the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Sergei Beskrestnov (Flash).
“Even an enemy who doesn’t count money understands that releasing Shahed worth $70 million at a time with a dubious result of about 5% is a utopia,” Beskrestnov wrote.
According to the adviser, the Russian army has not yet developed measures to counter Ukrainian interceptor drones.
