Neck creases are a feature that many people experience. They are formed due to the habit of looking at a smartphone, working on a laptop for a long time, or simply due to age-related changes. Cosmetologists advise doing a simple and effective exercise that will help correct this area without expensive serums or salon procedures.
We often forget that the skin on the front of the neck is very thin and devoid of fat, and the tone of the subcutaneous muscle can decrease due to constant tilting of the head or fatigue. To restore smoothness to the neck, it is important not only to moisturize the epidermis, but also to work with the muscle frame. Experts recommend doing gentle stretching for your platysma.
How to do:
- Stand up straight and tilt your head back slightly to open the front of your neck.
- Pull your lower jaw forward and upward, feeling the stretch under your chin.
- Slowly turn your head to the left, holding the tension for 4-5 seconds.
- Return to the center and repeat the movement to the right.
- Do 5-7 times on each side.
- Then lightly move your palms from your collarbones to your chin to stimulate lymphatic drainage.
The exercise helps smooth out horizontal lines, improve skin tone and restore a toned appearance to the neck. Regular practice prevents the appearance of new creases and improves the general condition of the tissues in this area.
