Unobvious signs of parasitosis: doctors recommend listening to the body’s signals

Parasitic infections can be hidden for a long time, and the body’s first signals often go unnoticed. Some symptoms are so commonplace that people do not associate them with possible parasitosis.

Doctors note that if such manifestations appear regularly and for no apparent reason, you should pay attention to them and, if necessary, seek advice from a specialist.

1. Constant fatigue and decreased performance

Chronic fatigue, weakness, and drowsiness can occur for many reasons. However, during a long-term parasitic process, the body spends resources fighting uninvited “guests,” which affects overall well-being.

2. Unexplained weight loss or gain

Some doctors have linked nighttime teeth grinding to parasitic infections, although this symptom is not proven and can have many other causes, from stress to malocclusion. However, when combined with other symptoms, this signal should also be taken into account.

6. Sleep disorders and anxiety

Restless sleep, frequent awakenings, difficulty falling asleep, increased irritability may be the result of a toxic effect on the nervous system or general exhaustion of the body.

7. Frequent headaches

Toxins and inflammation sometimes trigger headaches for no apparent reason. A particularly typical situation is when pain appears in waves and is not always well controlled by conventional means.

If the listed symptoms appear regularly, do not go away for a long time and are accompanied by a deterioration in health, it is important to consult a physician or gastroenterologist. The specialist will prescribe the necessary tests – only laboratory diagnostics can confirm or exclude a parasitic infection.

Do not self-medicate. Antiparasitic drugs have strict indications and can be toxic if used incorrectly. Therefore, it is better to discuss any suspicions with a doctor rather than start treatment on your own.
