The preliminary program of the main events of the 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk will cover a week – from August 13 to August 20, 2028. This was reported by city mayor Sergei Vereshchagin on his social networks.

“Krasnoyarsk residents see the first results of the implementation of the program to prepare the city for the 400th anniversary: the national center “Russia”, the Victory Memorial, modern schools, renovation of the historical center, environmentally friendly transport, new roads – development is taking place in all directions and we are not going to stop there. At the same time, there are more and more objects for reconstruction, renovation and modernization. For the majority, we have found the resources to carry out the work and the selection of contractors is already underway,” said the head of the region.
The mayor explained thatThe dates for celebrating the city’s anniversary were not chosen by chance – andIt was during this period that the Krasnoyarsk fort was founded.
“But, as Alexander Valentinovich Novak correctly noted, the main goal of all projects is not the celebration itself, but improving the quality of life in our hometown. This goal today unites the government, business, and residents. Together we will do everything in our power to achieve it,” added Sergei Vereshchagin.
