Many people notice that in the evening the face seems to turn to stone, and the teeth involuntarily clench. Often the reason is not stress, but the habit of keeping your jaw tense while working behind a screen. Because of this, blood flow is disrupted, and facial features lose their natural softness. There is one simple movement that relieves spasms without massage therapists or pills. It relaxes the chewing muscles, improves microcirculation and returns a calm expression to the face.
How to do it:
- Sit upright, feet firmly on the floor, gaze ahead.
- Open your mouth half a centimeter so that your teeth do not touch.
- As you exhale slowly, gently press your tongue against the roof of your mouth just behind your upper incisors.
- Hold for 5 seconds, feeling your jaw drop.
- As you inhale, gently relax, maintaining a slight gap between your teeth.
- Repeat 12 times.
- Perform 2 sets per day.
To enhance the effect, you can move your fingertips from the ears to the chin with light sliding movements. This will speed up the drainage of lymph and relieve residual tension.
