Anthropic is testing a feature that shows how we might use the artificial intelligence agents of the future

Anthropic is testing a feature that allows users to send requests from their smartphone to the chatbot Claude, and it will perform the task on that user's computer.
The new product indicates the company's orientation towards AI agents that, with time, become more and more useful, agents brought to the fore this year, after the launch of the open-source project OpenClaw, writes CNBC;
Users can send a message from their phone to Claude with a specific task, and the AI agent will carry it out on the laptop.
Basically, after receiving the instructions, Claude can open applications on the computer, surf the Internet and then fill in various tables if needed.
Anthropic also gave an example: a user who is late for a meeting asks Claude to export a presentation as a PDF file and can attach it to a “meeting” invitation.
The latest update shows the direction of AI companies creating so-called “agents” that can autonomously perform tasks on behalf of users whenever needed.
There has been a lot of talk about AI agents in recent months, especially since the OpenClaw project has gone “viral”, which is an open-source project that aims to create an AI agent capable of using a computer by itself, in a way similar to a human user.
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang recently said that OpenClaw is “undoubtedly the next ChatGPT.” OpenClaw can automate tasks such as: filling out forms, navigating websites, using programs and repetitive office “tasks”.
