Torential rain warnings and vijeles on Thursday in more than half country / heatwave – maps – maps

The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) has transmitted a yellow and an orange atmospheric instability warning that on Thursday, from lunch until the evening will be affected over half the country.
Also, ANM has issued two high temperature codes for this weekend, the heat to cover about three quarters of the country.
Yellow code of temporarily accentuated atmospheric instability
In Banat, western, southern and east of Transylvania, western and northern Muntenia and Center of Moldova will be periods with accentuated atmospheric instability that will manifest through torrential showers, electric discharges, short -term intensifications of the wind, vijeals (generally 50… 70 km/h) and on times.
In short intervals or by accumulation the quantities of water will be 15… 25 l/sqm and isolated over 30… 40 l/sqm.
Orange code of accentuated atmospheric instability
In Oltenia, northern Moldova and locally in the Southern and Eastern Carpathians, atmospheric instability will be accentuated and will manifest through torrential showers, strong vines (rags of 70 … 90 km/h) and medium and possible hail. In short intervals (1 – 3 hours) or by accumulation the quantities of water will be 40… 50 l/sqm and isolated over 60 l/sqm.

In Banat, Crișana, Maramureș, the north-western half of Transylvania and in the southern half of Oltenia and Muntenia will be highly high temperatures for this time and will be thermal discomfort.
Locally, the temperature-humidity index (ITU) will easily exceed the critical threshold of 80 units in the western and south of the country.
The maximum temperatures will be between 30 and 35 degrees, the highest values to be isolated in Banat and Crișana.

On Saturday and Sunday, in Banat, Crișana, Maramureș, Transilvania, Oltenia, Southern Muntenia and the northern half of Moldova, particularly high temperatures will be recorded for this time and there will be thermal discomfort. The temperature-humidity index (ITU) will easily exceed the critical threshold of 80 units in the western half of the country and sometimes in the rest.
The maximum temperatures will be between 30 and 36 degrees, the highest values to be isolated in Banat and southwest Oltenia.

Monday (June 9) The warm weather will persist in the south and south-east of the country, where there will be thermal discomfort, ANM said.
