In today's Bucharest, dominated by wide boulevards and hastily built blocks of flats, few places still preserve the memory of the city of yesteryear.

Puțul cu Tei Street in the Berceni neighborhood is one of the fragile remains of an almost forgotten Bucharest. A Bucharest on the edge, almost rural, a place of road crossings, wells, trees and border crossings.

Considered one of the oldest streets in Berceni, Puțul cu Tei street (what is left of it today) is important due to the story of its name and the role it played in the formation of the community in the south of the city.
