Survey in Moldova: Unionists remain in the minority. How many of the Bessarabians support the accession to the EU and NATO

Almost two thirds of those questioned in a survey conducted by Idata declare against the union of the Republic of Molova with Romania. A similar percentage is those who oppose NATO, informs news.ro.
61.5% of those questioned, while 31% are favorable to the Union are pronounced against the union with Romania.
More than half of the subjects (57.1%) are declared in favor of Moldovan accession to the European Union, while 36.2% are against.
Almost 60% are pronounced against the accession of the Republic of Moldova to NATO, and 30.8% are in favor of such an approach.

The Idata survey was conducted between August 7 and 16, 2025 on a representative sample at national level, of 1,071 subjects, by the CAP Computer-Assisted Personal Interviewing method). The maximum sampling error is ± 2.9%, the number of localities represented by 89.
“The data are weighted to correspond to the gender structure, age groups, residence environment, development regions, statistical regions and ethnicities, the total population,” the company says.
