Iran's supreme leader drops bombshell: “We didn't attack Turkey and Oman. It's a divisive scam”

Iran's Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei said recent attacks attributed to targets in Turkey and Oman were not carried out by Iranian armed forces or groups allied to Tehran. According to him, these are “false flag” incidents, orchestrated by Iran's opponents with the aim of creating tensions between the states in the region.

“The attacks that took place in Turkey and Oman, both of which have good relations with us, against certain locations in those countries, were in no way carried out by the armed forces of the Islamic Republic or other forces of the Resistance Front”Mojtaba Khamenei said, according to aljazeera.
In a public message, the Iranian leader warned that such actions could take place in other countries as well, being part of a strategy to “sows discord between neighbors”.
“This is a scam by the Zionist enemy, using a false flag tactic to create divisions between the Islamic Republic and its neighbors, and it could be happening in other countries as well”Iran's supreme leader said.
On the other hand, Iran's Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, strongly rejected the claims launched by the United States regarding alleged significant destruction of Iranian military capabilities.
The official classified these statements as true “far from reality”arguing that there is a major discrepancy between Washington's communications and the actual situation.
“US Government Says One Thing, Reality Says Another”Araghchi relayed in a post on Platform X, referring to US claims about Iran's air defenses and navy.
He pointed out that while the US claims that Iran's defense systems have been neutralized, an F-35 jet has been shot down and US warships such as the USS Gerald Ford and the USS Abraham Lincoln have withdrawn or repositioned.
He went on to compare the way the US presents its wartime achievements to the way it presented the Vietnam War in the 1960s and 1970s.A different decade, the same “we win””he wrote.
