The police received a report from a woman who found her brother and his daughter without signs of life in their own home.
“Law enforcement officers immediately arrived at the scene. It was previously established that a 52-year-old man, while in the house with his 11-year-old daughter, allegedly fired a firearm shot at the child’s head, after which he committed suicide,” the police press service said.
According to law enforcement officials, the girl had health problems.
The bodies of the victims were sent for forensic examination to establish the final cause of death.
