The trial of a suspect in the rape of a schoolgirl in a pigsty has begun in the Krasnoyarsk Territory

In Krasnoyarsk, a trial has begun against a man who raped a 17-year-old girl and threw her to be eaten by pigs. The publication writes about this 42.VSE42.RU with reference to krsk.aif.

The tragedy occurred on November 23, 2024 in the village of Ushkanka (Uzhursky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory). The schoolgirl's body, bitten by pigs, was found in a cattle pen. A 41-year-old neighbor of the minor, who worked as a cattleman at an agricultural enterprise under the leadership of her father, came under suspicion. Investigators were led to him by the girl’s phone, which the man stole.

Later it turned out that the man wanted to take revenge on the schoolgirl’s father, since he often argued with him on work issues.

“The man knew that the adults had gone to Krasnoyarsk to sell meat. The offended man allegedly wanted to burn his neighbors' cattle. But when he came to the pigsty, he saw a girl there. A fight ensued. The schoolgirl could not resist for a long time. The suspect stunned her and then raped her,” the regional investigative committee told the media.

He then left the 17-year-old schoolgirl to bleed to death in a pigsty among the animals. At the same time, he knew that the neighbors’ pigs eat meat. As a result, they killed the wounded girl, and the attacker himself disappeared. When he found himself in the hands of law enforcement officers, he tried to confuse the investigation and in every possible way denied his involvement in the girl’s death. The man even pretended to be mentally ill, but he was declared sane. He eventually confessed to raping and assaulting the schoolgirl.

The investigation was completed in March 2025, but a verdict in the case has still not been rendered. It turned out that the accused insisted on holding a trial with the participation of a jury, and it is not so easy to assemble them, explains krsk.aif.ru with reference to the commentary from the regional prosecutor’s office:

“WITH Everything goes slower for the jury. First, invitations are sent out, then the selection and formation of the board takes place. In fact, the hearings started on October 10, by which time only five hearings had taken place.”

It is still unknown when exactly the verdict will be handed down, but the prosecutor’s office hopes that it will happen in November of this year.
