The police told the head of Krasnoyarsk about the results of their work over the past year

The mayor of Krasnoyarsk discussed with the leadership of the city police the results of operational activities in 2025. At the meeting, which took place in the administration, topical issues of maintaining public order and ensuring security were discussed.

In his report, the head of the Krasnoyarsk Ministry of Internal Affairs, Gennady Berezin, noted the impact of the organizational and practical measures taken on improving the operational situation. Thus, the number of registered crimes decreased by 16%. At the same time, the share of crimes in the field of information technology remains high in their structure.

“Prevention of such cases is an integral part of the work of any local police commissioner. Due to the measures taken, it was possible to reduce the number of illegal acts in this area by 20.7%, said Gennady Berezin. — An important area of interaction with local governments and event organizers remains maintaining order at events with mass participation of citizens. “Last year, more than 1,200 events were held, no violations were recorded.”

The meeting participants also identified among the priority areas the improvement of joint work in the field of road safety and anti-drug prevention.

Summing up, the head of the city thanked the police leadership and personnel for their cooperation in resolving issues of the safety of residents:

“We are certainly interested in seeing this work only improve. The President of the Russian Federation declared 2026 the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia. This will be a special period when aspects of strengthening interethnic harmony become a priority. It is also important to continue building our cooperation, taking into account the new territories of greater Krasnoyarsk and preparations for the 400th anniversary of the city. Separately, it is necessary to pay attention to the prevention of mobile fraud, especially the participation of minors in Krasnoyarsk“

Also at the event, Sergei Vereshchagin awarded the most distinguished police officers with Letters of Gratitude for their successes and achievements in service.
