The Beeline operator summed up the preliminary results of modernizing its broadband Internet access (broadband) network for 2025.
The provider has increased the reliability of the service by installing almost 8,000 pieces of modern equipment at network communication nodes. Thanks to this, Beeline users can watch online movies, stream, play online games on a PC and participate in video conferences at a confident speed.
The work carried out improved the quality of home Internet and digital TV services for 650 thousand users, minimizing video freezes, session interruptions and stabilizing download speeds.
In addition, the Beeline team modernized the network topology. Experts have optimized the way components are positioned and connected. The work performed increased the fault tolerance of the network, reducing the influence of man-made and natural factors on its performance for 125 thousand clients.
In the near future, uninterruptible power supplies will be installed in almost 2,400 homes connected to the broadband network. This will ensure stable operation of the equipment in the event of a power outage. The improvement will be felt by 150 thousand users.
The operator plans to reserve fiber optic lines at large broadband communication centers in 14 regions of the country. The implementation of this project will significantly reduce the impact of accidents – in the event of a line break, users will not lose access to the service.
