A clean kitchen apron in a minute: I learned a few tricks – I wash the tiles without extra effort

After cooking, small oil splashes remain on the surface of the kitchen apron. While they are fresh, they are easy to remove. But as soon as they dry out, the grease is firmly fixed on the tile, and with it – odors and plaque. Because of this, even the most expensive and beautiful apron seems dull.

Most housewives admit that it is easier to wipe the tiles every day than to do a general cleaning once a month. It is especially convenient to keep a spray with soda solution on hand. Just 1 spray and a couple of movements with a rag are enough, and fresh stains will disappear. This literally takes a minute.

By knowing a couple of effective techniques, you can return the tiles to their ideal appearance, even if the stains are old.

Vinegar

Dilute it with water 1:1, apply to the tiles and let the composition work for 10–15 minutes. After this, just a quick wipe with a damp cloth, and the surface is smooth and fresh again. Plus, vinegar eliminates odors. But it is better not to apply acid to sensitive grout too often.

Soda for the most difficult cases

When the stains are particularly stubborn, soda paste helps. Mix baking soda with a small amount of water to a thick consistency, spread over problem areas and leave for about 20 minutes.

Baking soda gently dissolves grease and is absolutely safe for tiles.

Citric acid

Add 1-2 tablespoons of lemon juice to a glass of warm water, apply the solution to the tiles and rinse off after a couple of minutes. The tiles acquire a slight shine, and a pleasant citrus aroma appears in the kitchen.

Citric acid also helps freshen the grout between tiles.

Ammonia against old fat

If conventional methods fail, an ammonia solution will come in handy: 1 tablespoon per liter of water. Apply the mixture, wait a few minutes and gently wipe the surface. Fat dissolves very quickly, without streaks. It is only important to work with the window open and use gloves.

To keep the tiles always looking fresh, use soft sponges and rags, keep a spray bottle of soda or vinegar solution on hand, be mindful of the seams, and always wipe the tiles immediately after cooking.

When the tiles shine, the kitchen immediately seems more well-kept, and cooking on it is much more pleasant. Any of the listed methods will help restore the shine of your apron without difficulty, and no greasy splashes will ruin your mood.
