Trump's Support Support falls a 70-year record-CNN

According to the survey, Trump’s policy is currently approved by 41% of Americans, which is the lowest indicator for the newly elected presidents on the border of their 100-day period since the time of Dwight Eisenhauer (held the position of US President from 1953 to 1961). These results are also worse than the indicators after 100 days of the first term of Trump.

Support for Trump’s policy has decreased by four percentage points since February – by seven percentage points. Only 22% of respondents expressed decisive support for Trump's activities as president. 45% said that they did not apparently approve of it.

Since March, Trump has encountered a noticeable drop in approval by women and Spanish -speaking Americans (by seven percentage points in each group up to 36% among women and 28% among the Spanish -speaking ones). As for the party views of the respondents, 86% of the Republicans approve of it, and 93% of the democrats do not approve. Among the political independent rating of the president’s approval, to 31%fell, which corresponds to his lowest indicator of the first term in this group.

The survey revealed that Trump, according to the respondents, fails on almost all the main issues that he tried to solve during his stay in power. At the same time, the public confidence in its ability to solve these problems is also reduced.

Trump’s actions in the field of foreign affairs, including a more friendly position in relation to the aggressor of Russia in its war with Ukraine and the cessation of many foreign assistance programs, also cause disapproval of the majority (39% approve, 60% do not approve). Half of the respondents said that they are largely or to some extent confident in the ability of Trump to manage foreign affairs – this is below those 55%that appeared in surveys before he took office.

It is noted that Trump receives the most positive assessments on only one issue tested in the survey: his approach to problems related to gender identity and transgender people. In general, 51% approve of his approach to this issue, including 90% of the Republicans, 48% of independent and 16% of democrats.
