Bayern Munich rethought the plan for this period of mercato. The leadership of the Club of Allianz Arena seems to have given up on the fight with VFB Stuttgart for his transfer Nick Woltemade (23 years) and focuses 100% on the superstar Liverpool.

The quoted source explained that the player would have already understood with the Bavarians, and at this moment, Jan-Christian Dreesen and Max Eberl, the CEO, respectively the sports director of the German champion, is negotiating with the “cormorants” officials for this transfer to materialize as soon as possible.
So far, the two amounts placed on the table by Bayern, 52 and 68 million euros, were refused by Liverpool. However, German journalists have said that Dreeti and Eberl do not give up and plan to get out of pocket no less than 90 million euros, after having already understood the player, who would receive 14 million euros per season if he signed with Bayern.
Moreover, the chances of the Bavarian increased considerably once Liverpool transferred to Hugo Ekitike from Eintracht Frankfurt, for 95 million euros. Therefore, Luis Diaz, who still has a contract with the group from Anfield Road by 2027, could be allowed to leave this summer, and thus, the “cormorants” will be able to cover almost full the amount spent for the French transfer.
