According to Yanyuk, thanks to the proportions, the roll tastes perfect without being too cloying.
Products for dough
- 4 eggs;
- 2 tbsp. l. Sahara;
- 180 g flour;
- 400 ml milk;
- a pinch of salt;
- 30 g butter.
For cream
- 350 g cold cream cheese;
- 100 g powdered sugar;
- 200 ml cold cream with 33% fat content;
- 300 g cherries;
- 1 tbsp. l. Sahara.
Preparation
- Mix eggs, sugar and salt. Mix with a whisk.
- Pour in half the milk. Stir.
- Add flour and whisk until smooth.
- Add melted butter and stir the dough.
- Cover a baking sheet with parchment and grease with vegetable oil. Pour the dough onto a baking sheet and smooth it out.
- Bake in an oven preheated to 190°C for about 25 minutes.
- Prepare the cream. In a deep bowl, mix cream cheese, cream and powdered sugar. Beat with a mixer at maximum speed for about three minutes.
- Place the cream in the refrigerator.
- Remove the pie from the oven and let it cool.
- Mix cherries with sugar.
- Apply the cream to the pie and sprinkle cherries on top.
- Roll the pie into a roll. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
