
On the night of May 29, drones massively attacked the Yaroslavl region of the aggressor country, Russia. This was announced by the regional governor Mikhail Evraev.
According to him, most of the drones were allegedly shot down, but industrial fuel storage facilities were hit.
A fire broke out and is still being extinguished, Evraev said. There were no casualties.
Amid the shelling, authorities blocked the highway from the city of Yaroslavl in the direction of Moscow. The governor later noted that the restrictions had been lifted.
A massive drone attack was also reported in the Volgograd region, RIA Novosti writes. According to the regional governor, Andrei Bocharov, as a result of the fall of UAV debris, a fire was recorded at a chemical plant in the city of Volzhsky, fuel and energy complex facilities in the south of Volgograd, as well as local fires during the night.
According to him, there is one dead and two injured.
According to the Exilenova+ and Supernova+ monitoring channels, an oil refinery was under attack. Videos and photographs showing the consequences of the hits were published on social networks.
Astra, after analyzing photographs published on social networks, writes that as a result of a drone attack, the Volgograd oil refinery of Lukoil caught fire. This, according to the publication’s calculations, is at least the 10th attack on the plant since the beginning of the war.
The house in Volgograd, which, according to the governor, was hit by a UAV, is located 2 km from one of the largest enterprises of the Russian military-industrial complex JSC FSPC Titan-Barricades, Astra has established.
The plant, in particular, produces launchers for strategic missile systems, the media writes.
