On Monday, October 27, the District Court in Zielona Góra announced the bankruptcy of Cinkciarz.pl, calling on its creditors to submit their claims to the appointed trustee – which was first reported by the “Biznes Interia” portal.

The law firm Grenda-Restrukturyzacji was appointed as the receiver of Cinkciarz.pl. Its president, restructuring advisor Łukasz Grenda, has so far served in many bankruptcy proceedings, including: as a manager over Leszek Czarnecki's shares in Getin Holding.

According to the court's announcement published in the National Register of Debtors, creditors of Cinkciarz.pl should submit their claims to the trustee within 30 days of the announcement of bankruptcy.

The company's injured customers can submit receivables electronically via the National Register of Debtors (KRZ). To do this, you must have a trusted profile or a qualified electronic signature. The proceedings are being conducted under reference number: ZG1E/GUp/9/2025.

The trustee will try to satisfy the creditors of Cinkciarz.pl

The task of the trustee will be to take over and manage the assets of Cinkciarz.pl, secure them, and then liquidate them, i.e. sell them to satisfy creditors. The designated law firm will prepare a list of creditors, an inventory and a repayment plan. Looking at the reports regarding the online currency exchange office from Zielona Góra, full satisfaction of the claims seems unlikely at this stage.

At the end of last year, at the request of the prosecutor's office, 328 bank accounts operated by various banks for the benefit of Cinkciarz.pl were blocked. “The estimated amount of blocked funds does not cover all the claims submitted by the injured parties so far,” said prosecutor Anna Marszałek.

As reported later, the seized funds accounted for approximately half of the PLN 49 million in losses reported by customers at that stage. Since then, however, the amount of claims has increased to PLN 125 million and may not be the final amount.

The wanted president and his accusations

At the beginning of October, the so-called a red notice, i.e. an international arrest warrant for the president of Cinkciarz.pl, Marcin Pióro. According to the information received by our editorial office, he is currently in the United States, where he has founded two new companies. From overseas, he is also conducting a campaign against the Polish Financial Supervision Authority and the prosecutor's office, accusing the Polish services of falsifying evidence in his case.

Pióro claims that investigators incorrectly counted some of the clients' claims and on this basis accuses them of dishonesty in his case. The last such publication on the profile of the founder of Cinkciarz.pl on LinkedIn dates back to October 27. The Poznań prosecutor's office hits the ball. In a statement from the end of September, she denied “all allegations of forgery and manipulation directed at investigators by Marcin P. via social media.”
