Specialists from Krasnoyarsk Rospotrebnadzor helped return money to a resident of Lesosibirsk for an unsuitable dress.
According to the department, in the summer of 2025, the woman ordered a dress through the marketplace. When trying it on at the order pick-up point, she discovered that the dress did not fit in size. However, when trying to return it, the employee at the delivery point noticed a hole in the hem and stains of unknown origin and insisted on buying back the item and then registering the marriage.
For a month, the woman tried to return the money for the goods of poor quality. However, the seller refused and sent it to the service center for examination.
“Having exhausted the possibility of independently resolving the dispute, the victim contacted us. Specialists of the Rospotrebnadzor Office prepared a statement of claim to the court to protect the violated rights,” the department said.
As a result, the court recovered 8,680 rubles in favor of the consumer, of which: 1,523 rubles – the cost of the dress, 1,264 rubles – a penalty, 3,000 rubles – moral damages and 2,893 rubles – a fine.
The court's decision entered into legal force.
