Alexandru Meszar, manager at UTA, went live on GSP Live Special to comment failure with FCSB0-4, but also the form of the team from Arad.

UTA had a great start to the season, two draws and 3 wins in the first 5 legs, but could not maintain that level. Arădeni have not won any championship match in the last 9, in the last two they were even humiliated, 0-4 with both Oțelul and FCSB.

How does Alexandru Meszar, the one who leads the team from Arad, comment?

The head of UTA, after 0-4 with FCSB and Oțelul: “We don't explain ourselves!”

“Two games in a row when we were outnumbered. Out of four games, three of them we played a full half with a man down. Deservedly, we are not tied to the referee, but it is interesting that all 3 eliminations were in the 45th minute. Fate does not help us either.

We're in a bad place and nobody knows why. In the first 5 stages, this team played tremendously, at one point they were in first place. We don't know what happened. The conditions have not changed, the players are paid on the day. We don't know, but I have faith that we will recover. We have a good team, adequate staff, good conditions, the spectators are with us and I hope they will continue to stay. We don't explain ourselves.

In the first 7-8 stages we were undefeated. I also had hopes, the audience even higher. But nothing is lost. There are 16 games left in the regular season, meaning 48 points are at stake.

FCSB player strength is much higher. The history of previous championships makes a clear difference between UTA and FCSB. But as FCSB has a chance to recover, so can we. FCSB has another objective, our objective is only to get closer to the play-offs”, Meszar commented on the GSP Live Special show.

Most players have a 2 or 3 year contract. Tzionis is our player, on a longer contract.
