Putin announces a ceasefire. There is a deadline

“For humanitarian reasons, on the days of the 80th anniversary of the victory, from the north from 7 to 8 May to midnight from 10 to 11 May, the Russian side announces a suspension of weapons” – the Kremlin said in a message.

During this period, all warfare is to be suspended, but the Kremlin points out that “in the event of a violation of weapon suspension by Kiev, Russian army will provide an appropriate and effective response.”
