IN In Krasnoyarsk, a former deputy director of a cultural institution and an individual entrepreneur are suspected of fraud in the supply of furniture to a center for patriotic education. This was reported in Main Investigations Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

Based on this fact, a criminal case was initiated under Part 3 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (fraud committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy, using official position, on a large scale).

According to investigators, in 2024, a cultural institution and an individual entrepreneur entered into an agreement for the supply of furniture for the regional center for patriotic education in the amount of about 450 thousand rubles.

“Acting as a group of people, an entrepreneur provided the institution with a bill of lading for the supply of bedside tables, agreed upon with the deputy director. Based on the reporting documents, funds in the amount of about 450 thousand rubles were transferred to the entrepreneur, which caused damage to the budget of the Krasnoyarsk Territory,” said the regional Sledkom.
