24-year-old driver, caught speeding over 220 km/h on the A0. How much he will pay for his unconsciousness

A 24-year-old man was caught by the police on Saturday, October 18, driving at 227 km/h on the A0 highway, km 24, in Ilfov county (Corbeanca area).

“On October 18, 2025, at 2:03 p.m., the policemen of the Highway Brigade detected a 24-year-old man from Puchenii Mari, Prahova county, on the A0 highway, km 24, in Ilfov county (Corbeanca area), driving at 227 km/h, on a road sector where the legal speed limit is 130 km/h”, transmits the Romanian Police in a statement.
The driver was fined 3,037 lei, and his license was suspended for 120 days.
