Bayern Munich qualified in the finals of the Club World Cup, after defeating, with a score of 2-1, the Argentine band Boca Juniors, on Hard Rock Stadium in Miami (Florida), in front of 63,587 spectators.

It was the first victory of a European formation over a representative of South America at the current edition of the World Clubs.
