H+H Polska Marks 20 Years of Transformation in Construction Sector

In Poland, the rising energy requirements, workforce shortages, and pressure to expedite investment timelines have transformed the design and construction of buildings. Over the past 20 years, H+H Polska has transitioned from a manufacturer of wall materials to a partner that supports the entire construction process.

Today, the company not only enhances its production capabilities but also develops system solutions, digital tools, and technologies that address the challenges of contemporary construction.

From Product to Comprehensive Wall Systems

The 20th anniversary of H+H Polska coincides with a summary of the transformation experienced by both the company and the broader construction market. Over two decades, H+H has evolved from a material supplier to a partner providing technical, design, and execution advice for investments. A key element of their offering is the dual-product model that combines aerated concrete and silicate materials.

The company today expands its material offerings alongside its project and advisory competencies, offering technical support, execution consultations, and optimizing wall solutions early in the design phase of investments. This dual-product model enables the optimization of thermal, acoustic, and structural parameters of buildings within a single system.

The approach to construction has changed drastically in the last 20 years. Currently, walls are seen as system elements that influence a building’s efficiency; hence, partnership for us means not just delivering materials but also providing technical and design support, emphasizes Piotr Dauksza, President of H+H Polska.

Digital technologies are playing an increasingly significant role as well. H+H employs BIM environments and solutions that facilitate digital design, which help minimize the risk of errors during the preparatory stages of investments and streamline collaboration among construction process stakeholders.

Construction Efficiency in New Market Realities

One of the biggest challenges in modern construction remains the shortage of skilled workers. H+H’s response to this issue is the development of medium-sized systems such as Tempo PRO, which accelerates wall erection processes, reduces the number of operations on-site, and enhances precision. The company also supports contractors through training programs and a Certified Contractors Program.

For H+H, investment efficiency now signifies not only the reduction of project timelines but also greater predictability of the construction process and improved work organization on site.

Technology, Safety, and ESG Initiatives

Modern industrial facilities are among the key elements of H+H’s development in Poland. Over its 20 years of operation, the company has increased its turnover sixfold, consistently investing in the expansion of production plants, automation, and process modernization. A symbol of this transformation is the hybrid plant in Reda, where two factories—producing aerated concrete and silicates—operate on a shared site, utilizing common infrastructure, technical systems, and maintenance facilities.

Another significant aspect of development is the digitization of operational and commercial processes, which streamlines supply chain management and facilitates daily cooperation with business partners. Today, modern construction demands not only quality materials but also efficient data exchange, increased process predictability, and rapid responsiveness to investment needs, adds the President of H+H Polska.

Work safety and sustainable development are integral parts of the company’s strategy. H+H fosters a safety culture based on the principle of “Zero Harm,” and its Polish facilities are regarded as leaders in safety standards within the entire H+H Group. Simultaneously, the company is undertaking initiatives related to the decarbonization of production and implementing ESG strategies.

From 2018 to 2025, energy consumption in production, measured in kWh/m³, decreased by 20%, while CO₂ emission intensity fell by 34% compared to 2019. Our long-term goal remains achieving climate neutrality by 2050, states Piotr Dauksza, President of H+H Polska.

The Next Phase of Transformation

After 20 years in the Polish market, H+H is evolving not just as a producer of wall materials but also as a company actively supporting the development of modern construction.

The next phase of transformation involves further investments in automation, digitization, and the development of systematic solutions that respond to the increasing market demands for energy efficiency, execution effectiveness, and work safety.
