The EU is financing a tribunal to try Putin. “Without responsibility there will be no peace”
— We have created this special tribunal for the crime of aggression, and now we are also providing its financing, Kallas said on Monday in Kiev, quoted by Reuters.

Kallas appeared at a press conference in Kiev together with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky.
— We also call on other Member States, countries and participants to support it financially so that its [trybunału] work could begin in full scale because without accountability there will be no just and lasting peace, she stressed.
When asked about American Tomahawk missiles, which, as President Donald Trump recently said, the US could send to Ukraine if the war is not ended, Kallas said that it was up to Kiev to decide whether it needed them for defense.
— This is not our decision, but Ukraine's. She should determine what she really needs, Kallas said.
