Last long weekend, Krasnoyarsk residents went en masse to Tatyshev Island, the only location in the city where swimming is officially allowed. However, people are faced with the fact that there is not enough space for everyone.
“There’s nowhere to lay out a towel. It’s like I was in Sochi,” one of the vacationers shared with a sibnovosti.ru correspondent. Another company said that they came to the beach around ten in the morning, hoping to be among the first, but there were almost no free places.
It was especially crowded near the Oktyabrsky Bridge – almost the entire coastline there was occupied.
Officially, on Tatyshev you can swim in three places: in Strelka Bay near the Big Concert Hall, in Lake Zerkalnoye and in the reservoir near the Oktyabrsky Bridge.
