“When I went to prison, the younger one was bullied.” What happened to the sons of Yuriy Lutsenko and where are they now? Photo

Children of famous politicians do not always seek attention for their lives, but it is impossible to avoid it – people Google the most interesting things to find out the whole truth. The online publication “GORDON” tells what is known about the sons of Yuriy Lutsenko – the former Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and ex-Prosecutor General, deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of three convocations, who defended Ukraine at the front from the Russian occupiers for almost a year and a half.

Yuriy Lutsenko is the father of two sons: Alexander (1989) and Vitaly (1999). Last fall, in an interview with Ukrainian presenter Slava Demin, the politician frankly spoke about what his children were doing.

Two sons

“The youngest son is a UAV pilot. The brigade served in Pokrovsk, Kherson, Volchansk. Now in the Sumy region. The eldest was an artilleryman, including near the Donetsk airport – he worked his ass off. Then, due to disability due to cancer, he was also decommissioned and is engaged in IT,” said Lutsenko.

How much money does the politician live on now?

According to Lutsenko, his wife’s business provides for his family. His eldest son also helps him and his wife.

“I think he provides 60-70 percent. Irina has a small business – she has a small office center, its income is absolutely enough for everyday needs. And if I need to go abroad, then I turn to my son,” the politician assured.

And four years later, Alexander Lutsenko became a father for the second time. He and his wife named their youngest daughter Valeria.

“Firstly, I have two granddaughters. And secondly, until my grandson appears, I remain the husband of my grandmother, but not my grandfather,” Lutsenko joked about his status. “So, on this occasion, I will explain one very simple thing. Probably, tenderness was considered too warm a thing for society. And we masked it with sarcasm, laughter and humor. I have a little overdose of these abilities.”

Yuriy Lutsenko admitted: he reads books to his granddaughters, but he instilled freedom of views and maximum humor in his sons.

“Above everyone, first of all, each other. It helps a lot in life – to be able to laugh at yourself, to be able to translate any conflict situation into an anecdote or story. My father gave this to me, I passed it on to my own. And let their women deal with tenderness,” he noted.

How did a political career affect your sons?

According to the politician, his difficult political life influenced the fate of his children.

“I raised Sasha in the same way as my father: don’t let me down. It was even worse with the younger one, because when I went to prison, the little one was tormented. Plus he was worried. Moreover, according to the law, you can’t take young children for interrogation. He was 12 or 13 years old at the time. And in about a year he gained 20 centimeters and even more kilograms. From stress. Then we fought very hard with this and went through many different stories,” the politician said. “In short. speaking, for normal children it is better not to have political parents. But by the time we started reproducing, it was too late.”
