In Kansk, a court ordered a local resident to compensate the owner of a car whose roof a TV fell on. This was reported in the Kansk City Court.
An unusual incident occurred in November 2025 in the village of Melkombinat. The woman left the Toyota Corolla Fielder near house number 36, and early in the morning she heard the alarm go off. When she looked out the window, she saw a plasma TV on the roof of her car. The owner of the car contacted the police to report damage to property. However, they did not initiate an administrative case, since the elements of intentional damage to someone else’s property were not found.
It later turned out that the man had quarreled with his girlfriend that night. Before this, he had been drinking alcohol for several days. In a fit of anger, he grabbed the TV from the table and threw it from the fourth floor balcony. The equipment fell directly onto a parked car. The woman asked the man several times to voluntarily compensate for the damage, but he did not pay the money. Then she went to court.
According to the conclusion of an independent examination, the restoration of the car was estimated at 138,470 rubles.
The Kansk City Court upheld the claim and ordered the man to compensate for damages, as well as pay legal costs and the services of an appraiser. The court's decision has not yet entered into legal force.
