In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, regional budget expenditures on children's recreation amounted to almost 2 billion rubles. Most of the funds went to pay for vouchers and travel for the children to their vacation spot, the regional government reported.
Over 118 thousand children of the Krasnoyarsk Territory rested this summer in health camps in the region and beyond. There were 56 country health camps, 805 day camps and 18 tent-type camps operating in the region. At a meeting of the Presidium of the Government of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, which was chaired by the regional governor Mikhail Kotyukov, the results of the children's summer health campaign were discussed.
“A year ago, we resumed issuing free trips outside the region for gifted children, and this summer 156 children vacationed at the Scarlet Sails camp on the shores of the Sea of Japan. Also, as part of the federal program “Children of the Arctic,” 606 children from the northern territories went on vacation to the southern regions and Primorye. Plus, at the expense of the regional budget, we sent 33 children from the south of Evenkia, which formally does not belong to the Arctic, to vacation on the Black Sea coast,” said Mikhail Kotyukov.
Deputy Minister of Education of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Tatyana Gridasova noted that, first of all, more than 4 thousand children of SVO participants received vouchers, 5,240 disabled children and children with disabilities completed health programs. Over the summer, 117 specialized shifts were held in all camps with a total coverage of over 18 thousand children, five country organizations implemented the “Movement of the First” program, and paid special attention to the leisure of minors who are on preventive registration.
All country health centers have installed video surveillance systems and emergency call buttons. During children's rest, checkpoints were open, and security was provided by private security companies or departmental security officers.
We would like to add that preparations for a new health campaign have already begun in the region. It is planned to provide organized recreation to the maximum number of children in the region – for this, work will have to be done to improve the skills of personnel, develop educational programs, and carry out current and major repairs of camps. Soon, educational organizations and social institutions will begin to inform parents about the timing and possibilities of purchasing children's vouchers, including discounted ones, for the summer of 2026.
