Elon Musk, placed on the list of enemies of Iran. His companies have become “legitimate military targets” for Tehran

Iran considers all companies controlled by Elon Musk in the Middle East as legitimate military targets, including SpaceX's Starlink satellite internet service, according to a message published on Thursday by the Iranian Fars agency, close to the Revolutionary Guard, informs CNBC, quoted by News.ro.

According to information released by Iranian state media, Tehran plans to target “all economic interests managed by Elon Musk in West Asia,” including a regional Starlink ground station.

Iran claims that the United States has committed war crimes against it with the support of companies associated with Musk. According to the source cited by Fars, the Islamic Republic reserves the right to attack all installations and assets managed by the American billionaire's companies in the region.

The threat comes in the context of the escalation of the conflict between the United States and Iran and the recent exchange of military attacks between the two sides.

Iranian authorities accuse the Starlink system of having played an important role in US military operations, being used for communications and coordination of advanced systems, including attack drones and autonomous surveillance ships.

In the past, Iran's Revolutionary Guard has issued similar threats against other major American technology companies, such as Nvidia, Apple, Microsoft and Google.

The situation is escalating in the Middle East

The message published by Fars appeared almost simultaneously with a statement by US President Donald Trump, who warned on his social network that the United States would hit Iran “very hard tonight”.

Trump also said that US forces will soon take control of Kharg Island, Iran's main oil export terminal, as well as other important energy infrastructure.

SpaceX and the White House had no immediate comment on the threats made by Iranian state media.

Tensions between Washington and Tehran have intensified in recent days after new attacks and military reprisals, calling into question the fragile ceasefire existing in the region.

According to Trump, Iran allegedly shot down a US military helicopter patrolling the Strait of Hormuz on Monday. The United States responded with airstrikes on Tuesday, followed by further attacks on Wednesday.

“We dropped $250 million worth of bombs on them last night,” Trump said in an interview with Fox News.
